teddogAcross the creek from the building I grew up in until I was 4 or so, there was a small piece of land with an old-style fast food joint (Arnold's Drive-In), a donut shop (don't remember the original name, but it was a Country Style and a Coffee Time at some point) and an ice cream store.
Yeah, the donut and ice cream places are now a CONDO SHOWROOM. Nothing is sacred anymore.

slwatson mentioned the housing prices where she is and I nearly passed out. I have $1500 saved for a bachelor apartment and I'm worried that it won't be enough for something clean, critter free and near the TTC. :(

Date: 2007-07-28 01:53 am (UTC)The High Park one is 30 minutes from front of the building to work. I timed that one. It's longer, but the subway is more dependable than the streetcar.
