HA!

No, I did not make that. Found it while bored at work.

If ANYONE edits that, though, I'll know who did it. :P

A Shadow Knights are is like an evil a goofy paladin, they use shadow humour based spells instead of light based ones. At lvl 10 thay can rez players, but this isn't very interesting, as many of the characters are from comic books and nobody ever really dies in those. Their weapon skills are: swords, two handed swords, maces two handed maces, sheilds, and two handed axes and timely witty remarks. Advanced weapon skills are: polearms, bows, trank guns, and axes, laptop computers and pop culture references.

Amour: mail, leather, plate (at lvl 40), black jumpsuits (at lvl AWESOME). Special abillities: thick armour: damage caused by ranged attacks against the shadow knight decreased by 15 (goes up by 2 every 6 lvls) when wearing body armor.

... the original idea that the fanbrat posted suck - without going into fine detail, he/she is going down the "We want to play Death Knights" road. Ugh. Yeah... there's how many confirmed Death Knights alive in canon? TWO?! My idea is better. :)

Needs to use wands, can heal only undead and demons (Dark Mending) and no guns crossbows or bows. And they summon the Baron's mount for free at level 20.

Except that player and NPC undead are listed as "humanoids". Ah, how many times did Fel die at Tarren Mill because I failed to notice that? Too many! ROFL at Dark Mending, though.

You know, I JUST caught the ranged weapons bit. Yes, they are paladins with RANGED weapons. That's just special. All Shadow Knights created come with Skycaller (http://wow.allakhazam.com/item.html?witem=12984) without the level requirement, because Death Knights are really just pixies with an attitude problem. That's why Gorefiend has those wings. The mount comes at level 19, so they can be 1337 twinks!

Ugh. If Gorefiend is what a playable Death Knight would be, that class would stink. "Hay guys! I'm spamming Death Coil!"

HOLY CRAP! That's so completely WRONG. And he's an Illidan fan, thus proving my theory that Illidan fans are your stereotypical fanboys.

"the characters i HATE! are:
Cenarius (AH HA HA AH HA HA CENARIUS IS DEAD AH HA HA AH HA HA AN AXE WENT THRU HIS HEAD!)"

I say we sic Boomkin-mode Estal onto him. Tis a shame that he isn't on our server.

And how could his favorite dungeon be Kara? He's lvl 48. I need a page dedicated to Thran.

... in all due dorky repect, I think that Kara is really cool and it's one of my favorites in terms of look and feel. I tried to explore it before Burning Crusade came out because big spooking and haunted towers = awesome. That said, I think that parts of Maraudon are pretty too, but I hate that instance with passion.

He also says he likes Zul'Gurub, so he's probably just full of it.

Heehee. The Wide World of Thran! Thran the Invincible is friend of all children, guardian of the universe and mocker of the Retribution of Arathor.

Oh my that is something else.^^;;

Honestly how can you hate Cenarius? :( Makes me kinda sad that one of my favourite characters is on his list but whatever seems to be a whiny little brat to me.

Did you see his idea for an expansion? Apparently he doesn't believe that Horde and Alliance should be balanced. -_-

This is sad. This thread turned from an inside IP&S joke into a SoA party thread! I feel somewhat guilty.

Which favourite character? Cenarius? o_O It seems REALLY random that he lists all of these "badass" characters as his favorites and then slams Gul'dan. Like Deathwing is better than Gul'dan. Also, Velen would smite his little troll behind across Azeroth. You do not mess with the uber priest who used to have Archimonde and Kil'jaeden as drinking buddies. :D

Of course he doesn't think the sides should be balanced. He probably thinks that he should be able to kill everything without effort.

Nah Cenarius isn't my favourite but I have respect for him all the same. I've always had a soft spot for Garona though. :D

I realize that Mephistroth is an acutally character in WoW lore, but it just screams Sephiroth which basically pegs this kid. He's a young angst teen that thinks the Horde is this brutal killing force that he can associate and day dream about to release his pent up anger. Its just funny that its on WoWwiki.

I'm not far enough in Warcraft 3 to know of Cenarius so I don't like to spoil to much for myself :). And why does he not like Gul'dan? Because he's dead??? Deathwing ran away like a little baby. And why does he want the cap raised if he's level 48? I wantz my Trollz Anit-Paladin. Givez me the wands and @ B@r0nz Ho5r3!

And this is not SoA thread. Its just a good old mocking.

I don't see Thran as all that special. See I don't think any player character could really be anything more then a nameless soldier. The reason is that when you kill Onyxia she's back the next week. When you defeat Illidian he's back in his Black Temple the next day. You actually don't effect the world in any major way. And if you didn't play everything would continue. Thus characters are less like Jaina Proodmoore and more like the the soldier in SW that you click on to hear him get annoyed. So it would be the exploits of Thran but those exploits would be limited to such things as sneaking around Steam Vaults and pulling a Fel Reaver into Thrallmar just so he could make a key for Shattered Halls without anyones help.

To me this is the crux of MMORPGs. Everyone wants to be a hero so then everyone is hero. As such being a hero is an everyday thing and really not all that special. So it becomes the little things that will make the difference. Everyone killed Zuluhed the Whacked! Question is, did you spend half the battle being chased by a pit lord?

I was referencing Gamera. Ever since I saw a Gamera on MST3K, I've loved his title "friend to children and guardian of the universe". It's like the soccer mom version of Godzilla.

Oh, I totally buy that argument, which is exactly why Fel is a former Sentinel - bascially just soldier/archer. That's why a lot of the players who make their characters self important drive me insane. A perfect example is Renault Mograine. While you "kill" him while running the instance, he's not actually dead. He's killed when you bring the Corrupted Ashbringer to SM and trigger a scripted event. Illidian is an odd case. I know you don't like spoilers, but the player characters aren't the ones that give the killing blow. This is also the same with Old Hillsbrad. Thrall HAS to deal the final blow to the Epoch Hunter. If he doesn't or dies before the end of the fight, the boss can't go below 1% health.

Besides, heroes are boring. "We went to Stratholme and pwned the Baron!" isn't half as interesting as "We went to Stratholme, got completely lost, jumped by ghosts because SOMEONE had to open a mailbox and took really sick, all while wondering just HOW that place is still burning."

In that case I am a "friend to children and guardian of the universe". Anything good enough for Gamera is good enough for me.

Before I forget, since you mentioned the "click on to hear him get annoyed" thing, it reminded me of this:

If you haven't heard it, you need to listen to it and share it with Lisa.

Nerf Troll Anti-Paladins!

Gul'dan was a supporter of the more brutal Horde, so I can't figure it either. Maybe he likes his heroes more "tragical". Grom is on the list too and Grom had some serious issues going on there.

I can't take Deathwing seriously. Not after this picture (http://www.wowwiki.com/Image:Deathwing2.jpg). Discuss.

From the Press Office of Deathwing

"The images that have circulating the interweb do not in anyway represent the actions of Deathwing or any of his Dragonflight. These images are considered to be of some rogue dragon. If this dragon is sighted in any opieum den it is requested that the Black Dragonflight's security officer be contacted immediately."
