Not the legal kind, sadly. ::sniffle::

Anyway, tested out the DVD recorder with a couple of episodes: Mars and Censorship. Those were the first two on the tape I grabbed. These were recent recordings dating back to the summer of 2004. I'm going to get started on the older tapes soon.

May the face of Richler haunt your dreeaaams!

::ahem:: This is with the one hour per disc recording time, the highest quality I can get out of the machine. The image quality is a touch on the fuzzy side, but that might just be the show in general. Prisoners of Gravity looks cheap. It's supposed to look cheap, pirate broadcast and tight budgets and all. There's not much I can do about that.

I also don't know what's causing that line or two of garbage at the bottom. It's not really too noticable, though. I think it's a VCR problem.

So. There you have it. Any ideas and opinions would be nice. :)

I would feel bad about charging for them, because they're not the best quality ever and just recorded from VHS.

If you like, I would happily reimburse you the cost of the DVDs, or whatever else sounds reasonable.

That said, I'm living in Hamilton right now and your profile says the same. Mailing out copies would be really easy.

Score!

Speaking of that, I wonder if you know my best friend's husband. He's part of the Hamilton gaming community, although I'm not sure how deep. Other than World of Warcraft and Warhammer, my friend doesn't really talk about it much.

It's entirely possible. Hamilton has a fairly large gamer contingent (http://community.livejournal.com/hamiltongamers): if I don't know him outright, I'd probably recognize his face from Bayshore or one of the local events.

Fodder? I think you've come to the right place. [info]slwatson likes to call me the "Prisoners of Gravity guru". While I don't completely agree with the nickname, I know a bit. Ask away.

I was thinking more in terms of media I can swipe, but I will certainly direct any questions I have to you. If you don't mind, I'd like to add you to my f-list. Reciprocation is certainly not required, although I wouldn't say no.

The cameo is a cool idea. I'm not sure what font is used on the name/logo in the show or otherwise I'd point you in the right direction.

I came across the Bauhaus (http://www.typenow.net/b.htm) font while poking around online... it's very similar. If you didn't have the original to compare it with, it could pass as the original. Similar enough for my purposes.
