Another massive storm yesterday.

Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but in Thunder Bay I don't remember any "big" storms going through, aside from snow storms. I don't remember any big boomers of a thunderstorm like yesterday. It flooded out the highways in Toronto.

They had a tornado in FERGUS. When I think "Fergus", I don't think "state of emergency". I think "that wacky little town on the Grand River with the AWESOME looking, old school municipal pool".

The place is a mess and heaven help us if the damage is close to the highway. Most of the towns up there, like Authur, Guelph, Mount Forest and Fergus have highway 6 going right through them. From the photos floating around, it does look like the area has closed highways, but do you think I can find a listing of highway numbers?. Nope. We're driving up on Sunday to Durham and I have a feeling that I'll be dragging out the road atlas to find detours.

This is the best I could find:

It's a nice area too, when tornados aren't ripping through it. How can you find fault with a town when a rainbow is big news? Nobody died in the storm, which only further supports Tas's "Canada has warm fluffy powers" theory

Oh, I'm fine here. ^^ The house next door has had water damage this summer, but that place is a shithole. The worst damage that's happened to family or friends is that Terry, my unofficial godfather, had a roof leak in his office and it soaked some new equipment.
