Yay! It's sorta cheating, but whatever.

Hotnewmedia.com worries me. It eats bandwidth like you wouldn't believe. I think... correction, I know what's sucking the bandwidth. I'm not going to complain about it yet. We have a terabyte of bandwidth to use and until something messy happens, I'm going to keep mouth shut, least my life become endangered. A terabyte = 1000 gigs = a whole lot of bandwidth. I think things are more than safe for now.

I'm just a little... I dunno... offed by the bandwidth use because it's sorta leeching from us. If the person who is leeching needed hosting for their files that badly, I know that Rob would have given free hosting to the whole domain.

Then again, there's the whole content issue. I'm not sure where we stand as a college, but I do limit the stuff that's posted on my domain.

For all those MST3K Fan Fic Page lurkers (I know you're out there), this is one of the many reasons why Steff and I cracked down on the posting of adult fic on the BBS. The last thing we need is my boss or a possible employer logging into those posts and finding smut.

Barf. I don't need this BS. Me wants to go back to the Steel City and forget work and school for a week. Need roller coasters....

Complex issue isn't that the student is using so much bandwidth. It's that the student is making a profit by selling DVDs based on using bandwidth paid for by the college.

The matter is out of my hands now, so I don't care.
