The game "Sam and Max: Freelance Police" has been officially canned. WTF? Every fan has been drooling over this title since it was first announced. You don't take a game that has been hyped so much and then stop production a few months before release!
This sucks hards. Not only does this mean that we wouldn't have Sam and Max 2, but it kills any hope for LucasArts other adventure series. Not more Maniac Mansion, Zak McKracken, Full Throttle, Grim... we might see another Monkey Island, but that's just beating a dead horse now. :-\
I'm going to curl up in my sock drawer and listen to "Drop the Hammer" for days.
I need to learn how to program well. Then I'll break into the industry and show them how good a tight game WITH a strong plot and kickin' characters is.
At least, I want a TTPCTS Club themed video game that plays out like Sonic Battle. I really like the.. oh screw it, I just want to play as Nance and hammer the rest of the characters with Air Power attacks. That's the type of mood I'm in.
