If, on Wednesday, Dec. 10 you step out the door and find yourself in or near Lubbock Tex., you'll want to know that the Mahon (Main) Branch of the Public Library there will be showing episode 321- SANTA CLAUS CONQUERS THE MARTIANS at 6:15 p.m. The Library is at 1306 9th. Admission is free; there'll also be free popcorn and candy.
That makes me wonder if Team Multimedia could have a MST3K party. While other programs have fundraisers, parties, and heck, even sweaters with the program name on them. What do we have? Dick, basically. I know for a fact there are a few MiSTies kicking around the first year of the program and even more crappy/b movie fans.
As Alex and Wayne suggested, why not have a Kung-Fu movie party with a Chinese food buffet. Take over the student union and play the movies on the giant (and seemingly nonexistent) projector. Or pull it off in the lecture hall or the activity room in residence.
I mean, we're easily some of the most over stressed students at the college. We need a break.
