THE FINAL MST3K SCHEDULE
The contract extension between Best Brains and Sci-Fi Channel expires at the end of January, 2004. No further extensions are planned. MST3K will leave the television, perhaps forever, at 11 a.m. Eastern and Pacific time, on January 31, 2004, when episode 912- THE SCREAMING SKULL ends.

Go download the MST crap from scifi.com NOW.

There were 197 full episodes that aired over 11 seasons from 1988-1999, plus a movie, specials and a whole bunch of other stuff.

MST3K Episode Numbering for Dum... err... Tasukis:
The first number stands for the season the episode is from.
The second and third numbers stand for the episode's number in the season.
For example:
The Screaming Skull's episode number is 912. It's the 12th episode in the 9th season.
Pod People is 303 - Third episode number in the third season.
Manos is 424 - 24th episode in the fourth season.

Pretty simple, right? Well, there's a few things numbered differently.
-Episodes from the very first season that only appeared on local cable (The KTMA season) either have a 0 or a K in place of season number. The pilot episode from this season was never aired for the public and is numbered K00 or 000.
-The movie is sometimes numbered 700 (because it is set between seasons 6 and 7 even though it was released between seasons 7 and 8) or M01.
-There are two versions of episode 701. The movie heckling is the same, but one version aired on Thanksgiving 1995 and the skits/wraparounds are themed as such. This episode is number 701TD.
-The "MST Alive!" shows (yep, live MST3K shows) are sometimes numbered L01 and L02.
- The Mystery Science Theater Hour eps and the TV specials probably have numbers, but I can't remember them. :-P

BTW, episode numbers are also refered to as "Experiment numbers" by some fans.

Ha!
