It's died out now. That said, the snow was a bit freaky as it was coming down. I took pics! And pics of the rest of the day's adventures!

This was Yonge and Front around... 10:15 this morning. The subway delayed my ride in. This intersection is usually a lot busier on a weekday.

Office Christmas tree! The "Star" at the top of the tree was my doing.

Saber/Arturia wishes you a Merry Fricking Christmas.

Things started getting bad about noon... the lake disappeared!

Here's the giant gingerbread castle from the place we had the party. Sadly, we couldn't eat it. You see the white things? Solid sugar. The party was fine - the place was kinda frou-frou. The buffet was small, mostly focusing on three main dishes, but there were about 10 different salads, soups and a build-your-own pasta bar. Oh yes, AND A CAKE BUFFET.
I ate too much.
And since people might ask, the inside of the hotel was not as I had imagined it. It looks like it had a reno done at some point in the late 1990s. For some reason, I imagined it being more like the north end of the Metro Convention Centre, probably because they're sorta the same style. I didn't get to explore too much. The weather was so bad that our bosses didn't want us travelling back to the office alone, even though it was only a block away.

And then we went back after they kicked us out. And yes, they did kick us out and took the food away. ::cries:: I could have had another round of sweets! Problem was that there were no windows and we didn't see it get worse outside.

The credit union closed early. On the other hand, we had to stay after until 5pm, because we technically had work we had to do, or at least the potential for work. We had clients to take care of.

Eventually, we got to escape. I ran across Queen's Quay to the streetcar station because it seemed safer than walking up to King station. Except, I almost broke my neck getting down into it. Look at those stairs!
