Public - Toronto Explosions and Evacuation

Figured that this was important enough to post publicly.

At about 4am this morning, Sunrise Propane Industrial Gases in North Toronto blew up. A large part of the city has been evacuated.

I'm NOT in the evacuation zone as of this moment. The zone has gotten bigger, but I'm still in the clear. So, yes, I'm safe. If I'm not safe, I'll update.

Yeah, everything ended up fine, buuuut the tankers didn't blow and Laura and I called off plans to meet up because we didn't want to be stuck in transit if the worst happened.

Man, the 401 traffic cams were CREEPY. No cars.

My folks were stuck in that traffic for hours coming back from Bowmanville. Even when I was working the Lakeshore was still a mess.
