Art - "With a Broad Brush"

An odd experiment in attempting to create a piece only using a 5 pixel or larger tool and trying to include as much detail while at same time trying to include as little detail as possible.

Who am I kidding? It's just an excuse to design something with large areas of colour.

It's Shayne from the AMU, standing on the lakeshore, just having pulled out her hair tie. She looks a bit stiff. Darn.

It reminds me of a children's book from the 70s, something painted with a large water colour brush.

I didn't think of it as having a 70s vibe to it at first, although I can see how it looks like that. I was thinking when I started that it would have more of a cutout effect, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

I like it, but I don't know if I'll do it again.

I meant that it specifically reminded me of an actual book, the title of which is lost to me. I can see it looking a bit like cut outs too, though!
