WoW Friend 2: So, Diablo?
Me: Yeah.

WoW Friend 3: I'm going to kill something if I don't see announcements for pallies!
Me: They explained the gear change for ret.
WoW Friend 3: Yeah, but look at everything that hunters are getting. You have nothing to complain about!
Me: ... I WASN'T COMPLAINING!

All while I'm attempting to build a video guide for uploads of PoG. Why no, I don't think of WoW ALL OF THE TIME.

Also, I bought a copy of the two disc set of Rock and Rule and my main fear is that I'm not going to have a chance to watch it before Monday. So much so that I pulled out of any planned WoW events because I really, really don't like being tied to them.

Some WoW here and there is fine, but as SOON as I pop back in the game, everyone wants piles of my time. You know, despite the fact I said I'd be coming and going.

Yeah, I know it has some... interesting moments, to say the least. It's kinda typical of Canadian animation from that period. There's some really nifty stuff and there's other bits that make you go "HUH?!"

But I got the two disc set and it includes the TV special The Devil and Daniel Mouse. Yes, even more cracked out Nelvana cartoons.

I also have the two-disc set! And I remember watching The Devil and Daniel Mouse on a reel to reel movie projector at a summer camp around 1979!

I saw The Devil and Daniel Mouse.... uh... I think around 2000. Teletoon used to air old Nelvana stuff late at night back then.

WAIT WAIT WAIT... I know the Devil and Daniel Mouse...

Does this include a bunch of weird alien shorts or something? Like one about a planet being Colonized but their are already people living there below the surface excavating the whole planet?

Like I said last night, it's only Devil and Daniel Mouse and I think someone has said that there's a small edit to it, although I don't know where that edit is.

I feel dumb now, because someone posted a torrent of A Cosmic Christmas back when I was in college and I downloaded it, but I can't remember if I still have a copy of it. There's only short clips on YouTube.

I can loan you the DVD if you're curious and don't want to spend $30 on it. I do think it's worth the $30 as a curiosity, since you get the theater cut of Rock and Rule (which is a corny and strange but still watchable film), the CBC cut of the film (different dialogue and some scenes are changed, although the video quality is kinda poopy because it's from a VHS source), a couple of pencil tests of the film, a director commentary with some meat on it, Devil and Daniel Mouse, Making Of films for both the movie and special that date back to the 70s/80s and some other odds and ends. It's really indepth for a fairly obscure film.

Yah I'm having a hard time getting detached from the game too. I got pulled into heal TK tonight and was flipping out trying to find a replacement. I work early and don't need to be staying up that late anymore.

Now the question is what to do with my four splits this week.

Ugh. It's frustrating because there's people in the guild who can't seem to shut WoW off in their heads. I enjoy the game and all, but there needs to be some space there. I'm not sure why it's a crime to have other interests.

I'm free for hanging out on Thursday.
