Media Blasters Acquires Dokuro-chan Anime

OH MAN.

Back in college, this was one of the series we used to air right at the end of anime club, because this is NOT something you want to show the kiddies. It's fascinating in its shear insanity. Never expected for this to get picked up.

That said, I probably wouldn't buy it unless it was for sure nostalgia's sake. It's something you really need to be in the mood to watch, and that particular mood isn't very common. It's almost a "one time only" show.

But I'm the person who thought that School Days was a company, so what do I know? ;)

I'll buy it! It was hilarious and it's not a very long series... so there probably won't be more than 3 or 4 DVD releases for it. :3 I've never seen the second season either; apparently they neglected to mention that their licensing also included it. :o
