teddogUmineko no Naku Koro ni has been confirmed for an anime adaptation. Details to come this summer. If the character designs are anything like the Motion Graphic.... uh, well, Maria will at least look her age. o.O
The so-called third season for Higurashi no Naku Koro ni has been confirmed as an OAV series nammed "Higurashi no Naku Koroni Rei", which is also the name of the CD-ROM release of collection of "What If" stories. 'Course, they haven't confirmed any storylines there, but there was a Daybreak adaptation on the Rei disc. ::coughs::
