OMG? Time to Think?
Apr. 30th, 2008 01:11 pmYes, apparently so.

Strike refunds, but they're making us hand in our passes. You need your pass to claim transit credit on your income taxes. Ugh.
Not much to report from a geeky outlook. The past few days have crazy. I intend to finish uploading the episode Adaptations before the end of the week.
Late last week, I swallowed my pride and coughed up the money for Volume 2 of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. It's the last volume I needed from the failed North America release and, from the looks of it, the first volume to disappear. The series has been out of print for almost 6 months now and all the while I assumed that Volume 3 would be the hardest to find. Yeah, right. That was the first one I bought!
I've also finally preordered Mystery Science Theater: The Movie and Lucky Star Volume One. I've been dying to get a DVD of the MST3K movie forever. That it's finally getting a rerelease makes me very happy. For Lucky Star, I just grabbed the regular edition. I've been debating on it and, frankly, I really liked the show but I can't justify spending over twice as much for a box, a couple of CDs I'll listen to once, an ugly t-shirt I'll never wear and a screenwipe thingie I'll never use because I'm a freak like that. I figured that if the future special editions have toys I want, I'll grab them on a case-by-case basis.
At the apartment, my kitchen drain has been given me some headaches, but I think I've cleaned it up with the PLUNGER OF DEATH. It's awesome, aside from the first time I used it, I aimed it wrong and got a wave of water to the face.
I'm enjoying living in Toronto right now. It lends itself better to summer weather than winter weather. I love walking, though, and that almost everything I'd ever need is a short walk away makes me happy.
World of Warcraft News:
The Lurker Below is down. I was disconnected for the bulk of the final go at it, as my copy of Warcraft crashed hard and I was underwater, so I died. Still got credit, despite a rather crappy showing. Hydross the Unstable is next, but I'm on raiding/WoW break due to general apathy, so that'll probably happen without me.
Still, it's kinda neat that I've raided and killed a tier 5 boss.
