It has come to my attention...

teddog...that my body hates me! On Monday I had mild food posioning. Yesterday, I struggled with a particularly bad period cramps that left me weak in the lower body and tired (and yes, those are normal for me, so don't get worried) and today I wake up with a headcold.
But, see, I took a sickday on Monday, so now I'm S.O.L.
Also, my skin randomly decided that it's 16 years old and broke out in painful acne. WHAT THE HECK?! My guess is that's conneted to my Time-O'-The-Month. Hormone swings and such.
So, aren't I just a bucket of fun?
The acne thing amuses me somewhat, as it does make me look younger. I had to go to a bakery yesterday to buy a cake for a co-worker's birthday. The following exchange happened:
Lady at counter: Do you want any writing on it?
Me: Nah, it's just for my boss. Once we put candles on it, there's going to be no room to read it.
Lady: You don't look old enough to have a boss!
Me: I'm 24!
Lady: You don't even look 20!
Me: I know.... I get carded everywhere.
And it broke down into the usual "You hate it now, but in 20 years..." discussion. It didn't annoy me this time, as it seemed honest.
In WoW news:
Self Cleaning Pit Lord! Leaves only the fresh scent of pine!
That thing was Magtheridon. We weren't expecting him to vanish and leave only armour behind. And yeah, we're scrubs from clearing it after the nerf, but it's cleared! Time for tier 5!
No new upgrades to mention - lost the roll for the tier 4 chestpiece. I got a red epic gem that I need cut but this requires me to find someone willing to cut it into pewpew upgrades for me. This probably won't happen, as our server is very slow on progression and the cuts are probably not even out there.

Date: 2008-04-17 02:28 pm (UTC)However, I don't know for sure if it was food poisoning. ::coughs:: I get mild food poisoning-ish attacks from certain types of grease and this is hit or miss. I can eat a McDonalds breakfast, but I can't eat a lot of their lunch/dinner foods. I did have something deep fried at Masa, so it could have set it off.
