Easter is less about the presents than any other holiday...

BUT I FINALLY HAVE IT.

That's one of the best hunter stat-stick until end-end-game, but it's drop is very, very random and tied to a random event. It's the first time I've ever seen it drop and I've been raiding since August. Other hunters have gotten it before me. ._.

But isn't the S3 Hunter Axe better? I guess it has more to do with the 1125 arena points compared to months of farming Kara...

Legacy will always have more emotional value because of how long it took to drop. However, this is "GAMINGLOL".

Stat wise, the issue with PVP gear is that the iLevel is spent on stats like resilience, which I really don't need for PvE as a hunter. Thus, the iLevel is much higher for Vengeful Gladiator's Waraxe (146) than Legacy (115), but the Waraxe isn't miles better. There's more attack power on Legacy, at 120 compared to 92. It's also all "static" attack power on the Waraxe. Waraxe does have more Crit rating, at 42 to Legacy's 22, but Legacy's is all tied to Agi and will boost with the proper buffs. The hit rating on the Waraxe is wasted on me at the moment, since I'm MORE than capped. Armor penetration varies from fight to fight and is a neat thing to have, but so is MP5 (as tiny as it is), especially since my favourite mana pot isn't a solid mana boost but just a spiked MP5.

Furthermore, Legacy has lots of raw agi on it, which is needed for Lightning Reflexes and Expose Weakness to have more impact.

The Waraxe is okay. I think it was added because Legacy's droprate is so wonky. The main complaint about it from non-hunters about it being overpowered is that it has a lot of damage in meele combat and produces some amazing raptor strike crits and how often do you see me raptor striking in a raid? I still have interest in picking it up, but it's more to allow for more sliding room in my gear.
