Seriously, despite age changes, this skit is made of win and awesome. It's COMPLETELY IN CHARACTER. It's not "Oh hi there! We're back! Miss us?". Dr. F is insane, Joel is sleepy and a father to the bots and Frank is... Frank. It's also funny as heck. I won't spoil it, but I was openly laughing at it. Frank's bit is priceless.
The only one that was "off" was Tom, since Frank was playing him instead of Kevin. It's still pretty much Tom, although they don't focus on him too much.
Anywho, I bring you MST3K: Many Years Later.
The backgrounds are all blue screen, as you can clearly see. The added bonus is that Tom can "float", like in the movie.

Ah, Dr. F and Frank. This is the BEST Mad grouping in the whole series. No other set of Mads holds a candle to these two.
I am going back to Hamilton tomorrow... to invade for like a day and level. Due to timing, I'll probably be running the Karazhan raid from my friend's place.
I don't really miss Hamilton. I miss being closer to the farming region, but I love my Toronto home. Do miss having a close Tim Hortons, having grown up in three blocks away from four of them. I think there's one across from the subway station on Yonge and I hope one day to make room for it in my heart, but it's not the same as having a sitdown Timmys out on the countryside. We're talking about those Timmys on highway six, leading up to Owen Sound, with strange and wacky flavours of donuts.
This is, depending on how you look at it, potentially connected to how food is better on the road. Fast food stink on a frozen morning as you travel across backroads is like a warm hug. Any other time is just icky.
I don't even know the "Toronto" flavours of Timmys donuts. For example, Fergus has coconut EVERYTHING. I think Thunder Bay had cherry sticks. The Timmys out by my office are full of a tiny amount of flavours and they're all the basics. Nothing special.
In WoW related news, Enrico-Gruen-the-Priest is now level 66. I'm taking my sweet time. The good thing is that he is also 375/375 tailoring and now owns an almost complete Frozen Shadowweave set. I can't wear it, but there it is.
