The IP&S Filter Opt-In Thread

I've debated this for some time. Here's the deal...

Why yes, I do write fan fiction. I am a dork and while some of my earlier material is pretty weak, I do think I'm getting better. :P

Up until this point, I've been burying a lot of my fic over in writing-prompt communities, but it's coming to the point that I can't anymore, since some of the ideas I've been hit with don't fit within the theme of the comms (I'm glaring over at slwatson, if you didn't notice).

Soooo, I'm posting them in my actual little journal for safe keeping, but I don't want to leave them floating out in the open. It's not that the fics are nasty and full of adult material (they aren't and I do have standards of good taste), but there's a certian potential for a conflict of interest going on here. I don't trust material floating around loose on the interwebs. At the same time, I don't want to flood people's Flists with fanfic that they might not be cool with. So, I'm adding a filter for fanfic that's IP&S (Insanity, Pure and Simple) related.

However, I have no idea who's actually reading the stuff. It could be just me and slwatson, for all I know. If you want in for whatever reason, leave a comment. You'll need an LJ account and need to have me friended, I THINK, to be included in the fliter.

What's included in the fliter?
- IP&S fic. Please note that IP&S is a multiverse that, while it doesn't include Real People Fiction (at least not from me), crosses over fandoms that probably shouldn't be crossed over and tries to find connections between them. It's crack.
- IP&S Alternative Universe fic. This would be the AU stuff. The AU material is set in a universe that was similar to the main IP&S-verse, but a major but unknown event in the past resulted in an unpleasant present. Slightly darker crack.
- IP&S Mirror Universe fic. Bwahaha! This was the new toy that Steff gave me to play with. I have no idea what's going to come from this, but it's inspried by her Mirror Universe Star Trek arc. Go read and leave her comments. I'll wait. But, yeah, I have no idea how and if I'm going to share this if she wants to share it, so it's filtered for now. Probably going to be fairly dark crack, depending on how it pans out.

Many of these fics are going to be posted out of context, maybe with a timeline added at most. There's a lot to sort through.

I'm not expecting nor demanding for people to join this. It's just an offer if anyone really wants to read this stuff.

Right now it's a bunch of random ideas bouncing around my head that I toss out and bounce off Steff. Should be neat, although I don't see it being something that commands a lot of my attention.
