Oct. 10th, 2007 03:37 pmWHERE'S YOUR HEAVENLY BEING NOW!?!
Sonic's in Smash Bros. Brawl. Yes, his non-handheld games have sucked, but come on! Between him and Snake, this game is so on craaaaack.
Thank you very much, Rhino, for lowering the costs of the new MST3K sets. The latest one only set me back $42 bucks as a preorder, which is an AMAZING change from paying upwards of $70. Now, can we get volume 3 and the singles back up here? I want to eventually finish my geeked out collection at some point.
You know, whenever.
Back to Sonic handheld games, I'm right now playing around with Sonic Rush Adventure and Sonic Advance 2, which I finally managed to locate a used copy of. Adventure feels shorter than Sonic Rush did; Sonic Rush had Blaze and Sonic's stories separate, with the same levels but in a different order. In Adventure, Blaze pops up several levels in and you're then given the option of which character you want to run the level with. It's longer, though, in the collection, exploring, and mission modes, all of which are new. You could debate that the RPG stylings that do show up could be a lead-in to that Sonic RPG Bioware is working on, but this is debatable. Sonic Advance 2 is simply a game I missed picking up before. It's extremely hard compared to the rest of the Advance series. The boss battles so completely unforgiving. I've gotten all of the character unlocked (minus Amy, because she needs the whole game cleared first), but I highly doubt I'm going to do a full-with-emeralds clear with the game.
Hey Kate, here's a stupid fact. I finally realised why the Succubus in Warcraft scares me. She has the same voice actor who originally voiced Rouge the Bat before the crappy VA took over.
I need to work on apartment stuff. Right now, I have a Gamecube, slow cooker, microwave and a toaster. :P
