I decided to buy a month of Warcraft time as vacation thing and because I wanted to see the concert setup with Lisa and I gave into the xpac hype.

... I ended up buying six months worth...

GOSH, I'm dumb. I feel amazingly stupid, because with the 1 month plan, I can be flaky and stop when I want. On the other hand, I'm only paying $13 US a month for each month... but... I'm a tightwad. I will walk 20 blocks to avoid using a transit token. I will price check about a billion stores before buying something. I still don't have a cellphone, because I think it's a money pit. So, accidentally spending $80 on online gaming is enough to make me pass out. 0_0

And yes, I called up tech support and they said that I can't reverse it. So, I better pick an alt to work on. Still only want to play every other weekend or so.

But my word, LOOK AT THE PRETTY. That trailer is so cheesy (Kate and I heckled it - "One shot kill? She's totally a holy priest! And it looks like the guy landed in the Plaguelands!"), but the scenery reminds me a lot of Northern Ontario. Epic stretches of rocky landscape and forests, with a sky that's larger than life... it's college all over again!

Now, if I can scrape together 2500 gold and get my epic riding skill, the six months will by worth it. :(

I've thought about it, and I wouldn't almost mind if I took up raiding on Fel.

The problem is, that while instances like Underbog and Durnholde are easy now, I'm still struggling with the top tier. We sucked hard at The Mechanar last night, but I believe the problem was general group stupidity. Picking and choosing the mobs (for Pete's sake, just clear the darn thing!) and someone was ALWAYS breaking my traps and I was getting blamed. It sucked.

Well if you want the raid then you need to go to the wow forums and look at the different guilds see what their focus is and what requirements they ask for since some of them are quite strict. Then check out their websites and if interested fill out an application most raiding guilds want you too and then play the waiting game.

Personally casual raiding would be good choice for you and their not as strict really.^^
