I'm digging through Sonic MIDIs on a lark - I want to play my games but think I can find a free system in the house?!
Anywho, I located the theme from Sonic the Hedgehog 3 that was SO my little Mary Sue's theme music (HERE!) and then I encountered...
THIS!
Anyone else remember the MST Chronicles? I SWEAR that that exact midi was used on one of her chapters. It's from the second half of Ice Cap in Sonic 3. That game had some awesome music (like this, this and this) but it triggers such messed up memories.
Funny thing: Enter "Technoservo" into Google and you find more from the TTPCTS Club than you do the actual fics. We lasted longer and we're referencing something that no longer exists online in it's original form.
Gosh darn it, I feel old now. D:
Speaking of old school:

No, it's not getting the old name page, but I figured that the internet was free of my crap for too long. That and, such as it is, I wasn't comfortable with having everything uploaded onto third party servers. You know, in case it blows up and it's offline for good.
The world isn't that lucky.

Date: 2007-07-27 03:02 am (UTC)Looking through the Internet Archive, I managed to locate the file names of three other midis: spookyeva.mid, aeka.mid, and yama.mid.
Aeka.mid is apparently from Tenchi Muyo:

Spookyeva.mid is probably based on Evangelion music, but I haven't found a matching filename. Yama.mid? I have no idea.
