Jul. 23rd, 2007 08:20 pmI felt like ranting and now... I just feel like laughing.
I was annoyed earlier because I found a post where some guy was complaining that the "challenging" and "hard-hitting" episodes of Prisoners of Gravity aren't online. He was referring to the Fans episode I uploaded.
This bothered me. I've always seen myself as a freak in whatever PoG fandom there was. I only really got into it for the characters originally and then latter for the interviews because, let's face it, Rick Green writes some damn good characters. Maybe... I really was a bad fan! D:
Then, I thought to myself "Hey! I LIKED that episode. It's not groundbreaking but it's funny!". And, I like the challenging episodes too, but for completely different reasons. I enjoy the interviews AND I enjoy the silly character bits and there's nothing wrong with that at all. Heck, I've been trying to share this show with the world for the past six years and it feels like I'm finally making some progress.
And, I'm a girl! I have BOOBS. By all intents and purposes, this guy should be happy that I'm not in his fandom, slashing his d00ds. That IS what's expected of us female fans now, isn't it? Heck, everyone knows I'd never actually do that, but I know people who would... if I paid them.
Sooooooo I don't really have anything to rant about. More like giggling at someone who's just annoyed at how a complete stranger is uploading a series. He better pray he never sees the TTPCTS Club stuff. Or the IP&S stuff. That would be FUNNY.

"It's a shame my only example deals with Fandom, because the topics they covered were a lot more hard hitting than this at times."
Yeah. "My only example". That doesn't bother me as much, because I'm used to having the material I upload being reclaimed by others and that might be a wording issue.

Date: 2007-07-24 06:05 pm (UTC)Like I said, it bothered me when I first saw it, but it doesn't now. I just find it funny, because it was a stupid thing to get worried over and I could be doing a lot worse. ::shrugs::
