Okay. Um. I know it's Pride Week and all and Yonge Street has a big, captive audience for the parades, but do we REALLY need the signs with the out-of-context Bible scriptures?
Dude. This is TORONTO. The only time I've seen these suckers before is in the depths of the Southern United States. Despite what you think, this doesn't suddenly bless the grace of the Almighty upon us. It makes everyone feel pretty damn awkward.
And no, this awkwardness isn't because the Lord is showing us the truth. It's because there's a big freakin' billboard with a scripture verse taken completely out of its context and a Hotmail email address perched high on the street corner near the World's Biggest Bookstore. Some of us would like to use that street without dealing with your overzealous silliness. It really stupid.
Oddly enough, you placed it on top of BMV, which might I add has a massive porn collection for sale (I found in on accident, I swear). The building owners are probably making money off of what you paid for the ad. See where the laughing comes in? :P

Anyway, remind me to pick up more blind DVDs... when I have the money. I got the first volume of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya today. Despite the huge amounts of hype and insanity behind it, it is an enjoyable series on it's own. Probably the first anime series that I've enjoyed in a really long time. I was a bit worried because I heard that most of the humour was inside jokes and that there was a large moe factor, but after watching it, the moe in the show appears to be more akin to the twins in Ouran, being more of a parody that the hardcore fanatics still jerk off to. ::sighs::

Neon at the Yorkdale TTC station. I have this thing for neon artwork. It makes me happy. This installation is long gone, which sucks because the world needs more neon art! I think there's a piece at the Metro Convention Centre... but... I haven't seen it yet, other than this pic
