Apr. 23rd, 2007 02:01 pmSo, apparently Boris Yeltsin died. What baffled me was that I could have sworn he was already dead.
My favorite memory of him isn't about him, but of how John Morgan portrayed him on Air Farce. :D Those were good times. Back in the 1990s, there would be skits with John Morgan as Yeltsin, Roger Abbott as Jean Chrétien and Don Ferguson as Bill Clinton.
Speaking of John Morgan, does anyone remember "Herb Gray and Closet Elvis"? It was the stupidest series of skits ever - Herb Gray (played by Morgan) would be placed in a position where he needed political advice, so he'd go to his office closet, which is where Elvis (played by Abbott) lived, and asked Elvis for help.

although the joke only works once or twice before the idea grows old.
