Good news and bad news time!
Apr. 23rd, 2007 12:14 pmBad News:
My computer was acting up at the office on Friday and is now official a brick. Our IT guy can't get it to start.
Bad News:
I appear to be suffering from whiplash from yesterday's accident.
Good News:
This works out great, as I don't have to come into the office!
I'm kinda ticked on both fronts, because that was a new computer (6 months) and my neck is killing me. Our IT guy was in an accident like the one I was in, and gave me a suggestion of drugs to try and told me to relax at home for the next few days unless something mission critical comes along. This means (hopefully) I can catch up on fansite crap and my WoW account. Although, all I really want to do is sleep right now.
The work computer might be gone for up to 3 weeks, so I'm going to be bringing in Nance the laptop to work. That means I need a laptop bag. :P
Thank you to everyone for the words of support after the accident.

Date: 2007-04-24 05:25 am (UTC)No serious damage, other than my neck really hurts when the drugs wear out. If that's not enough proof that I'm my normalish self, my first clear thoughts after the accident were "I really want a slushie!" The Geo also didn't suffer much damage for some reason - I could have sworn from the noise that the car was a write off.
I'm pissed off at the guy who caused it, though.
