I'm SO working for the weekend... this week sucked in terms of free time.

On the flip side, I am now proud owner of a pair of Genesis tickets for September 7th. The buggers cost me a lot more than I expected, but holy crap they were selling out FAST. By the time I bought mine, I couldn't get any $57 tickets and the $77 tickets were only being only sold in singles. Therefore... $157 Genesis tickets! I was not expecting them being that much, sadly. :(

I hope it warms up today. It was cold this morning - so much for the warm weekend.

Speaking of shopping, Hairy T (comic shop next to me and on Yonge) is having a big sale at the end of the month. 30% of on manga! And they're already marked down a little from cover price. :) They have a lot of other cool shit there, like play arts figures and all that. Wanna check it out on one of the days? I think we both need to watch our spending but who can resist a huge sale? (Their selection of manga is really good too! The place has a total Hill City feeling.)

!!!!

Okay, I'm so there. How's next Friday? The rest of that weekend is a bit of a wash - I have hockey tickets for Saturday and churchy crap on Sunday.

Next Friday is fine. :D I usually get home (Dundas W Station) between 6:00pm and 6:10pm. I'm not sure if you want to go to the one on Yonge instead, since it's most likely bigger than this one. ^^ The sale's at both, so it doesn't really matter, I guess. :D

Bigger = more loot on sale, though?

I usually work until 4:30pm, but I can do the come in late/stay in late deally on Friday. We could probably meet at Dundas or College station for 6:20 or so.

You up for dinner afterward? I'll be darned if this place doesn't look cool (http://www.7westcafe.com), but we can always cruise Yonge for foods.

Yeah, the sale is the same at both places and if the store is bigger, they'll have more stuff. :) If it comes down to it, we can always just go check out both or something. I don't want to buy much anyway. :|

Dundas or College is cool. :D College might be better, then we can just walk. And yeah, I'll be up for dinner, but I want cheap dinner. XD I've been to a few places on Yonge but I'd like to try out some new places... that 7West Cafe does look pretty cool; I saw the web site for it last year when I was looking for a place to go. It seems sort of upscale, which might mean it's a bit pricey... we'll see. XD I think cruising sounds a lot more fun. :D

I'm only planning on spending $30 at most (unless I see something I really, really want), but I was thinking more stuff in terms of selection. If we're let down by what's at the Yonge store, it's easy to hop on the subway. Besides, I STILL have to see that new apartment of yours and I'm honestly curious about what the building is like in person. This seems like the perfect excuse to do it. XD

You know me and I love cruising for chow. I'm up for cheap-but-not-fast-food-chain dinner, which means adventuring through the wilds of Yonge. Food at 7West ranges from $9 to $15 a plate according to their site. Don't know if that's out of your range. I only thought of it because there was a review of the place posted in one on blogTO.

Yeah, I'm only going to spend $30 too. :3 And that 7West place sounds alright, for price. I guess it'll all boil down to what we feel like at the time. XD And we totally should just come back here after comics and food.

BTW, I told Jeremy we were going and he wants to come along. :3 You can actually meet my boyfriend! And he's dying to watch some MST3K. XDDD Is it okay with you? :D

Cool! I'll make sure to pack some MST3K.

Awesome! :D I'm really looking forward to it. You'll have to excuse a bit of the mess in my apartment when you come over though... I did a random visit to Ikea to finally get a table top and office chair so that I can actually do work at home, and I'm in the middle of putting the table together. ^^; I'll take you on a tour to show you where the recycling bins and stuff are, since I'll want to get rid of all this cardboard. :9

Jer's pretty damn awesome. XD I'm glad you two will be able to meet. We'll actually be able to have fun with him. ;P Unlike the last one. *cough* We can talk WoW too! XB (He'll probably want to see your chars and show you his... I wanna see 'em too!)

BTW, do you have the movie and/or Egah? :D I've been wanting to see those two again. Not necessarily for tomorrow, but just sometime.

Oh, and I'll be at Jer's tonight so if you need to get ahold of me, call or I'll check my LJ again later. :D

Nah, I've got nothing against messy apartments. You DO remember my dorm room, right?

Yeah, the other one was... something. Enough said. Yays, you get to see my main and the endless parade of alts. My priest has the UGLIEST outfit ever. I don't think you should log into my hunter, since she's in the middle of Outland (Nagrand, to be exact) and OMG SPOILERS and all that. It'll be fun to chat fan crap with new people, though. :D On that note, I'll probably be dragging Lisa into Toronto sometime in the next month. I'm buying her dinner at Pickle Barrel because she keeps hearing about the place from Katie and me.

I have a bootlegged copy of the movie floating around - it's about the only way you can get that blasted thing anymore. My only copy of Eegah is VHS, sadly. As for tomorrow, I wouldn't mind seeing a Mike episode, it's just finding one. Did we ever watch The Touch of Satan? Boy drives down random road, sells his soul to bang some average looking chick. Other than that, I wouldn't mind watching Space Mutiny again. Ha! That movie is so f'ed up.

Oh! And before I forget (...again...), my soon-to-exist GO transit pass has this bonus on the weekends where you can bring a friend for free. I'll have to check up on the transit in Mississauga, but I'm pretty sure there's a bus that goes from the Long Branch GO station to that yummy ice cream place on Lakeshore.

Just checking now - the 23 Lakeshore line would take us from the GO to Cawthra. Warmer weather can't come soon enough.
