The Good, The Bad and The Teddog

teddogOkay, the video transfer on Tron is amazing. I saw clips of an early video print in high school and it was muddy and dark. But here... WOW! I was blown away with how clean the movie looked. The backlight animation and computer graphics really stand out. Oh, and even though the plot is awful, the score kicks butt. The music that plays on the main screen of the second disk is haunting. I'm not sure what the piece is called (I've seen it listed as both the main theme and the love theme) but it sounds like this, only the quality is much better, since midis aren't the best.
And the Bit is offically the cutest character in the whole movie. I want one mommy! I promise I'll feed it and walk it everyday!
I was thinking about laugh tracks the other day. I have nothing more to say on that.

On a final note, this person sickens me. I guess I'm a too true to canon, but the idea of taking something and making it dirty for you own enjoyment seems a little stupid to me. It's like PWP and most slash stories - it only serves as a form of masterbation for the fan writer. Kinda like the MiSTers who make riffs in the NC-17 range or heckle fics in that range. Yes the originals had certian undertones, but turning the characters into oversexed rejects from a teen movie seems just plain wrong, even if in the first case, that's what they were originally based on (although later character delevopments changed that).
Poor Crow T. Robot. I feel for him.
