At some point during the night, my computer crashed and I lost about 200 written words. I do not know where these words went and I kinda want them back. XP

I'm having AWFUL luck with Open Office saving incorrect file versions. What I think I mostly lost was the ending to a story. Not a complete ending, because I'm not even finished the middle yet, but it was mostly dialog notes for an incomplete epilogue. I can rewrite it... but it's still annoying.

Isn't it lovely losing stuff you written? I've lost my share of stuff too. Try running less applications next time. :P

You're cruel.

For your information, I WAS running only a few apps. One window of Open Office and 3 of Firefox. It crashed so randomly too.

I hate when I lose stuff, though usually it's because of a lockup. Never tried Open Office, though; notepad usually or Wordpad.

I use Open Office because of the free spell checker. Woo!

This was a lock up. I'm not sure what happened exactly. All I know is I went to type up the next section of the fic and... it was locked up. After looking the file over, it looks like all I lost where notes on Arnie dialog that I made after talking to you. Those can be remade.
