More from the PoG tape dumps, although this one flat out BAFFLES me.

This wouldn't bother me except...

One of the episodes Nan-Cy gives a canon weight for Rick. It's 98kg.

Which is 216 lbs.

Which is around Mike's weight.

Except that would make Mike technically less heavy than Rick, since Mike has... like... half a foot on him. But, looking at photos, there's no way that Mike and Rick share the same weight.

You could argue that Rick put on weight at some point, but even if you compare it to the other character numbers, there's no way that it can be right. He just doesn't have the fat or the muscle to be near 216lbs.

So... yeah. I'm lost. o____O

That's what I was thinking too, about Nance taking a potshot at Rick. The comment was from a scene like this (http://www.teddog.com/pog/gallery/displayimage.php?album=6&pos=31), which is when Nance intros Rick at the start of an episode. The text in this case was something like "Was 98lb weakling. Now 98kg weakling."

I got 160lbs from a official Red Green bio that listed "155 lbs", figuring that living at SK would cause him to put on a bit of weight on top of that. Lorna's baking and all. That would have been a number from October 2005 and probably changed with the FoH raid and the frisbee competitions. To what degree it changed, I don't know exactly (would have to research the weight of muscle compared to fat), but he was putting muscle up until the finals. It's canon that Rick worked out back when he was on Earth, so he might be keeping up afterwards.

Hey, maybe they have more gravity on their satellite? Like double Earth's gravity? ::snickers:: Or, maybe Nance was just messing with him.

::shakes her head:: The lack/low level of gravity (it's not exactly clear what the satellite suffers from) is noted through the series several times. So, that's one thing it really can't be.

My money is Nance was messing with him. This episode is from season five and I've noticed that "Nance is messing with Rick!" is a recurring theme during that season. Eeeeeeh... I liked it better when they're on more equal footing, although Nance cheating when Rick and her are playing strip poker? Yeah, that's comedy gold right there. :D
