teddogRULES: Each player of this game starts off with 10 weird things/habits/little known facts about yourself. People who get tagged need to write a blog of their own 10 weird habits/things/little known facts as well as state this rule clearly. At the end you need to choose 6 people to be tagged and list their names.
1.) I don't believe in "food that is hard to eat and provides little meat should be avoided". Two of my favourite foods are ribs and snow crab legs.
2.) Although I consider myself to be "clean" in terms of drugs and booze, I did accidently get hammered once on some old cider with Lisa. Lisa doesn't remember this.
3.) When I was about 5, I saw an ad for Prisoners of Gravity and thought it was an animated show of some kind. This is because TVO showed some of the comic book opening in the ad. Because I am a dork, I would kill for a copy of this ad.
4.) My favorite pinball machines are The Who's Tommy and the Twilight Zone. I've spent upwards of $7 in these machines at a time.
5.) I once wrote a treatment for a public access comedy series back while I was in high school. It was based on stupid skits my friends and I would perform at the local movie theater under the name "The Snippy Scissor Club". I no longer talk to these friends.
6.) For reasons I don't understand, I have an unnatural love for department stores. It hurts me to think of dead Canadian department stores, like Eatons or Simpsons.
7.) You know the opening theme to the Neverending Story? For 15 years I swore that was sung by a woman. I had a freakout when I discovered it was man.
8.) I can recite decent sized chunks of MST3K: The Movie and Day of the Tentacle. Lisa and I together used to be able to recite about the first 20 minutes of the MST3K: The Movie, including the theater segments.
9.) The fastest I can make it from the Union Station subway platform to GO Train platforms in heavy crowds is in under two minutes. However, any yellow (delayed) and red (cancelled) on the GO announcement boards will double this time, but I blame that on heavier than average crowds.
10.) I own more TV shows DVDs than movie DVDs. I ought to take a picture of this.
