In light of spending the evening looking through really, really awful RP logs for examples for a future BRPS rant, I decided that I needed some amusement.

So... I was looking through this episode of PoG for screencaps and found this little bit that amused me. It's the 10 Commandments of Super Heroes, which in light of Insanity Pure and Simple is kinda amusing. However, the sound on my copy sucks ass, so I typed it out for Steff, Karen, Rich and whoever else can look it over and get a cheap laugh. It's cute. And not, that is not poofdom you hear. Honest!

First IP&Ser how can point out how each of these rules were broken wins.

X: Thou shalt wear primary colours.
IX: Honour the monthly deadline.
VIII: Honour thy mother and father, at least one of whom shall be dead.
VII: Thou shalt battle an arch enemy wearing complementary colours.
VI: Thou shalt suffer an accident involving radiation.
V: Thou shalt not steal.
IV: Thou shalt not commit adultery.
III: Thou shalt kill.
II: Though ye may lay waste to cities, smite powerful enemies or be buried under fallen temples, thou shalt no let thy hair muss.
I: Thou shalt not use the Lord's name in vain... because that would offend readers and that would effect sales.

-ShadowKnight dresses in basic black.

IX: Honour the monthly deadline.
-The FoH mission was pushed back to after Christmas.

VIII: Honour thy mother and father, at least one of whom shall be dead.
-Mike and Kitty still have both parents, respectively. Tom and Crow have their parental figures as well.

VII: Thou shalt battle an arch enemy wearing complementary colours.
-I'm pretty sure Sabretooth wasn't in complementary colors when he got beheaded. It's hard to complement black.

VI: Thou shalt suffer an accident involving radiation.
-No ShadowKnight was harmed by radiation in the making of this RPG.

V: Thou shalt not steal.
Do radio waves, top secret files and the pants of a few CSIS agents count?

IV: Thou shalt not commit adultery.
-The ShadowKnights are insanely loyal to their significant others.

III: Thou shalt kill.
-Despite two instances involving a sword and a blond farmboy that ended in villain deaths, several more who have crossed the ShadowKnights have, indeed, survived to tell about it. Or not tell about it.

II: Though ye may lay waste to cities, smite powerful enemies or be buried under fallen temples, thou shalt no let thy hair muss.
-Despite their penchant for destruction, the worst that was ever laid waste to was one abandoned hospital. Okay, well, the whole island of Genosha, too, but that was NOT the ShadowKnights. And no one's hair was neat when they did get home.

I: Thou shalt not use the Lord's name in vain... because that would offend readers and that would effect sales.
-Are you kidding? 'Jesus!' is a popular expression. 'Goddammit' is another. Despite the Midwesterners.
