So, Jen and I out to the mall. Main point was to pick up more DVDs for recording (almost done dumping my really old PoG) and go looking for Katie's birthday presents.
I fail to understand how we came back with 2 bags of Halloween candy IN THE MIDDLE OF AUGUST.
But, what glorious bags of candy they are! We got one that was all "scary shapes"; the Reese are pumpkins, the York patties are bats and the Hershey bars have ghosts printed on them. The Halloween bags come with these cute little light up necklaces. Sure, they're the kind you can get for a buck at the doller store, but it came free in a bag of candy. That's like a cereal prize times a hundred and yeah, I buy cereal for the prizes, like my awesome skull strobe light that came from an American box of Froot Loops.
A point to note is that confirms that Hershey chocolate bars are different in the US and Canada.
American: Sugar, Milk, Cocoa Butter, Chocolate, Soy Lecithin and Vanillin.
Canadian: Sugar, Milk, Cocoa Butter, Unsweetened Chocolate, Milk Products, Soy Liecithin, Polyglycerol polyricinoleate (cheap filler), Artificial Flavour.
However, the chocolate used in Canadian Hershey kisses is the same as US Hershey bars. The filler doesn't bug me, though. If I wanted quality chocolate, I'd blow my cash on either Lindt or Ritter Sport. XP
