teddogTraveling from Hamilton to Toronto daily? Not smart. It's 1pm and I feel burnt out. Going home doesn't seem like too wise of an idea either, since I've lost my bedroom until tomorrow... I think...
The timing of the trains is as such that I can catch the 7:04 train out of Hamilton and make it to work by 9:10 am. This includes delays at Union Station and missing both the first subway and the first bus. The bus I did manage to get was quite nice; it was standing room only at first, but 75% of the riders were high school students that got off at Mount Pleasant, thus leaving lots of open seats. I've wondered why this one bus was so "dead" by the time it reached Banff.
On the work front, my manager is sick today and I've been stuck trying to make "things happen" as they were. Sorted some packages out, mailed an old exhibit back to Brock University, tried to figure out what was going on with current displays. Exciting.
First pay isn't for at least another week and a half, which, you know, sucks. No income tax rebate either yet. I've pretty much decided I proabably will go to Anime North this weekend, so I'd like to see a little bit of money by then. I'm only hanging around on the Saturday and plan on camping out at some culture and media based panels. Again, this would depend on the rebate coming in. Mom said hers came last Friday, so mine should be today or Tuesday.
On the plus side, my marks are up and I did pass this semester. This was a worry at first, as my final review was submitted late. We, hm, forgot it. I'm a bit annoyed that the mark this semester as no effect on my overall GPA. But, hey, I'm done and with an average high enough to get on the Dean's List at the grad.
Katers: I found Wacky Races ANGST yesterday! LMAO! Haven't read it yet (was laughing too hard at the idea), but it's over at the Pit (fanfiction.net) if you want to point and laugh with me.
