"This is MY illegal broadcast!"
Mar. 11th, 2006 06:08 pmOMG, if someone can get me a copy of the Prisoners of Gravity episode "Robots & Artificial Intelligence" to call my own, I will build several churchs in your honour. It is utter and complete CRACK. The episode summary lists the character part as "Commander Rick wants to discuss Robots, a subject near and dear to his heart, but NanCy, his Nano-Cybernetic 3000 computer, foils his plans and changes this week's topic to Artificial Intelligence." It's not. It's an outright freakin' WAR between the two of them for 99% of the episode. They THROW stuff at each other at one point. OMFG...
The worst is when Rick says screw it and calls up Enrico Gruen and decides to take over Second Nature totally because Douglas Adams is there. Rick and Enrico fight for a minute and then Enrico storms off and says something or it's the tone in his voice that makes him sounds like... he's gay, frankly. Okay, this never ever ever happens on PoG. Ever. But it did!
I swear I dreamed this episode or something. Can't believe that this episode happened! Need to see this episode again!
Other interesting character notes from other episodes:
- Rick's previous job was as a Physics Teacher. (To Steff: OMFGWTFBBQONASTICK)
- Nance is a computer on Reality One (not Earth or anything). Rick did not program her, but helped her gain control of more of the satellite using parts from Hubble and Magellan.
- Young!Rick looks creepy.
- The "tape deck" is from Rick's car, but tweaked to act as a VHS unit.
I'm done for a looooong while.
