AN: Thanks toslwatson for the beta. Sorry, I forgot that earlier. :( Set in the current AU RP storyline Steff and I dreamed up. The human race has fallen after a war with the mutants and has been pushed up to the northern half of North America. Rick is a nomad travelling between the remaining human settlements and Nancy is a 11 year old girl living at one he decided to stay at.
