Whenever I think of that universe, I keep imagining that Evil Joel wants Evil Mike dead - so Evil Joel occaionaly comes around and tries to off Evil Mike and fails every single time.
Did Evil!Mike steal Evil!Joel's Evil!robots, thus the hate? Or is Evil!Mike, you know, actually smart with this kind of thing and built the 'bots and Evil!Joel is at the level of... normal Mike?
Man, you can get a lot of mileage out of this one AU.
The movie isn't anything to write home about, but the skits...
Why am I imagining a "mirror world" version of the RP world? Rick would be the evil, James Bond villian-like head of a giant mass media empire, in which he uses his science background to make people consume media until they die. Nance would be his unquestioningly faithful and forever silence secretary/bodyguard.
My Mike would be a drug-dealing pimp... who uses guns instead of his sword and likes to kick around puppies and robots. And Joel would be wide-awake all the time, unable to program a VCR, buys two-dollar hookers from Mike...
Dr. F would be the hard one. His D&D alignment is Evil Mad, afterall. What would he be then, Lawful Good? I suppose Dr. F would be an extremely capable scientist who uses his talents for purely evil purposes. And Lorna would be a demure, sane woman with orange hair.
