Doctors are quacks
Sep. 16th, 2002 09:39 pmJames came back from surgery today. He's still half asleep from the drugs they pumped into him. He also puked up blood all the way home, which is apparently normal. It seems wrong to send home a 11 year old kid the same day he goes under the knife for three hours. I think James is right now downstairs watching the BBC, which means he's still out of it. I ought to go rewire his Game Cube so he can zone out in peace.
I got my illness looked into. I spent two hours waiting at the clinic to find out I have a cold! A simple, normal, stupid cold. Colds always are bad with me because with my asthma they always go to my chest. So I'm coughing up gross stuff and they can't give me anything. Thank heaven for painkillers. School's gonna be fun tomorrow. :-(
Note to those who eat at Dairy Queen: Don't touch the Peanut Butter Oreo blizzards. Sweet peanut butter and bitter Oreo cookies don't mix.
