::starts shaking::
Sep. 9th, 2002 12:47 pmI was upset that Made in Canada was put in an odd place this season, but when I went to the CBC to complain, this is what I found:
Currently in production for broadcast this fall, the special two-hour movie The Newsroom continues the adventures of George Findlay and his news team, five years later. Created, written, directed by and starring Ken Finkleman, this feature-length comedy is a follow-up to Finkleman’s groundbreaking 1996 CBC-TV series The Newsroom. Winning legions of fans and numerous awards in Canada and around the world, the show’s caustically comic behind-the-scenes look at the workings of a local newsroom in a public television network has been applauded by both audiences and critics alike.
(start fangirl mode... now!)
AH! THE NEWSROOM! How I missed you so! ^___^
The Newsroom, along with PoG and MST3K, got me through the roughest years of my life. I was kicking myself when I missed the chance to buy the script book for the show.
So we have a Newsroom movie, a MST3K movie and a Red Green movie. All I need is a PoG movie and I'll die a happy Teddog. ::starts writing a script for a PoG movie::
