I haven't been following the main Warcraft comic too closely, other than the graphic novel that was released a few months ago. I have been making it a point to collect the issues for the Ashbringer mini series. The only reason for this is because it covers some plot arcs in the game that I was always curious about, mostly dealing with the Scarlet Crusade and the Argent Dawn. Due to some changes in the timeline, the original backstory has been rebooted and Blizzard decided to publish the new version in comic form.
I'm not sure how much I agree with it thus far and, frankly, there's some things that annoy me outright. Granted, there's some things that I enjoyed, mostly in a "LOL! Funny out of context!" BUT there is one thing that ticks me off...
( On certain Naxxramas bosses appearing in the comic... AND SPOILERS! )
In short, it's good for some b-movieish amusement, but... stop ruining the characters that were b-movieish fun in canon! If Noth appears as something other than a cranky mage, I'm gonna hit something!
