.... It's late. I know.

Uploads for today!

The Prisoners of Gravity episode "Humour". From season two. Some of the interviews run fairly long in this episode, so I think at least one had to be broken in half to upload. I hate doing that, but I was stuck. More of a lighter episode, both in tone and content.

On an IP&S note (for the one or two people that understand that sort of thing), I used this episode to connect some seemingly random characters together. So, if you were curious, this is where that came from. And for those not in the know, everything I've just said won't make sense.

And as a holiday freebie, here's some footage from a TVOntario fundraising drive. Interestingly, it opens with a quick in-character bit, but then it breaks down into what was pretty much standard for these drives. But! Prisoners of Gravity t-shirt! This is from season two (....I think).

I've discovered a slight problem: My hiking boots, the ones I just bought in January, are falling apart. The soles are getting thin, the inner lining is torn and stitches on the outside are ripping apart. I'm not really impressed. I've only had these for six months! I think they have about another month in them, tops, before I have to get another pair.

Part of the problem, I think, is that I walk, oh, A LOT. Everything is walking or transit for me. So, I burn through shoes like they're nothing.

Compounding this problem is that most shoes are not built to have this done to them. I'm under the impression that most specality shoes, like for running, hiking and sports, are built to only be worn within the span of that sport. So, a shoe being worn day in, day out and walking a couple of miles every day is going to fall apart.

Likewise, a shoe like the kind that are sold at Payless or related ilk is probably designed around look and not function.

So... what do people do? Is there something I'm missing while shopping for shops?

Am I destined to buy new shoes every six months? I was buying them at this rate back in high school, when I was walking a huge amount while delivering newspapers. I had a pair of Nikes that lasted me only 2 months.

Looks like the Lucky Star delay is happening AGAIN with volume two. I didn't place a preorder after what happened last time with volume one, but all of my usual Canadian online stores are reporting "Ships in 14 days". Please, Bandai, what part of "The Teddog wants to give you money!" don't you understand?! I refuse to order it unless I see a happy little "in stock", because I do not want to be sitting in limbo, not knowing when my credit card is being charged.

So, aside from that... YORKVILLE PHOTOS. My photos suck, as they're mostly of odd curious things.

Notes: This was inspired by a chat I had with Steff, talking about how there's really lots of holes in the early AMU storyline, including some key events. I rattled this off afterward. Mostly cute, really.

It was watching me. )
