May. 17th, 2008 10:43 amFor a long weekend, it is very cold, wet and gross.
It's supposed to be the May Two Four weekend. That's the start of summer for us! Instead, it's being quite poopy. I did have a DVD come in last night that I get to pick up this afternoon and I guess I could clean the apartment, but I'm kinda let down because I wanted to talk a walk to St. Clair this morning. It's a nice walk and I've done it in worse weather, but that was just COLD. Cold isn't bad. Damp isn't bad. Put together, they're evil.
I got off work early yesterday - I spend the morning moving furniture and boxes around the office and sorting magazines for recycling. Brought out the camera and took some pics of Toronto's Financial District. This was originally for RR/RP storyline reasons (so most of my comments are related as such), just to show what it's like on foot, but I'll post them here for anyone's curiosity, since there's a few people on here who don't live in Toronto. :P

May. 17th, 2008 07:39 pmI've never been able to watch all of the MST episode Diabolik, but DAMN if I don't love the opening bit of the film. I remember downloading this in my first year of college, back before YouTube. I think it was the first SciFi era bit I saw.
Still, it's one of my favorite pieces for jokes, pound for pound.
"Micheal, we're lost!"
"Whooping...... cranes....." "What?"
"Here's all your laundry!"
"Starting a bunch of vowel... and Terry Thomas!"
"Slam enough espresso and you'll see the world like this"
"Gentlemen, let's open our film with a ten minute shot of a spinning radish!"
"Uh, you're flooding it!"
"This will fool them unless they look at it!"
The hideout kills me. Watch the next part for that in detail. It pushes the levels of "WHAT THE HELL?!"
