I don't know if everyone here reads BoingBoing, but this came up today:

Curator euthanizes living leather jacket made from human mouse stem-cells

And now for a fun discourse...

Oh my gosh, it's Catts and Zurr! I met and worked with them back during my time at the Ontario Science Centre. They set up and ran an installation of Victimless Leather there back in 2006. It's kinda cool, but it was a bitch to get all of the materials they needed. I spent a good amount of time running back and forth from my office to shipping and receiving. Good times.

Catts and Zurr were actually decent folks to works with... for the tiny amount of time I was able to work with them. I was just the multimedia person's lacky so guess what job I was stuck with?

Oh yes. I got to babysit their daughter. HA!

Did a shop crawl at several large bricks and mortar stores after work, something which as NEVER failed me while looking for a released product.

Nobody has Lucky Star. Nobody knows when it's coming in.

I may have to take this to a higher power. Yeah, I'm writing a letter to Bandai.

Man, this is getting annoying.
