Bored. Looking at Comic-Con Stuff.

Del Rey picked up the Phoenix Wright comic. Yeah, it's a spinoff, but it's supposed to have new content that takes place within the first story arc (games 1-3). So, it'll either end decently or extremely poorly. Here, I'm secretly hoping that the original story arc gets made into a TV series or a movie. I'd buy into it! Lawyers in the near future, with various supernatural elements and really messed up villains.

I mentioned it, but here's the newer trailer for Trials and Tribulations. Contains major spoilers and features such amazing dialogue as "You are just a guy wearing a mask." I'm only in it for Mia, I SWEAR.

And more companies are licensing more light novels, but I still don't have a copy of Kino No Tabi 2. What on Earth happened there? I need more girl-and-her-talking-motorcycle.

[16:32] CommanderTeddog: Well, I did once find this fic for a series I watched as a kid. There was this really messed up villian who was half robot and half human. Scared the crap out of me.

[16:32] AnimeChamploo: Because you know fangirl logic shows us that the WORST crossovers get the best readership.

[16:35] CommanderTeddog: Nah. Even better. Red Green and Eva. With Harold replacing Shinji. 'Cause you never see his father and all.

[16:35] CommanderTeddog: And at the end of the series, you discover that humanity only exists because duct tape is holding the universe together.

Wanting to be on the road again!

Well, it appears that a summer trip to Thunder Bay is out of the question. It's not a matter of money more than time.

I have 2 weeks paid vacation this year and 3 weeks next, but that builds from the start of the work year. So, I only have about 4 days vacation right now. If I go up there, I want to do it by bus, since on the plane you lose all the little communities that are on the way up. 4 days is NOT enough to do that. Mandy is going to be upset. :(

Next year, things will be more flexible, but like everything, 2007 is weighted down with the challenges that a new job brings.

More YouTube videos, but Yuki Nagato's song file is messed up (second one is spoilerish). Yeah, I actually LIKE one of the "quiet girls" in an anime series and Mikuru is the one I can't stand. There's a first. Eh, Yuki's cooler later on and ( Spoiler-like comment for most of The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi )

To make matters worse, Itsuki sounds like Barney while singing! I'm sorry Kate, but that's too funny! Any of Ryoko's songs are particularly weird, with this one standing out (must I add, spoilers?).
