Alright. Normally I wouldn't vent about this...
Okay, there was this complete and total slacker in our program at college. He would never pay attention to things, refused to put any effort into projects, was a firm supporter of "Cs get you through classes" AND insulted me because he felt that the effort I put into my classes made the rest of the class, namely him, look bad.
And now he's bragging about how he's living in Hollywood.
Me, I'm happy for working in Toronto and the potential of living there. I've wanted to do that all of my life and I can't really ask for more right now. Yet, I can't help but wonder how broken the system is if someone like that can get so far on so little effort and I was almost at the point where I needed welfare to pay back my OSAP bills (when I was unemployed).
