Jun. 5th, 2007 09:09 amIt's June!
Also, it's been three months since I started working! NO MORE PROBATION! Of course, there's not much I can use from my benefits yet, but cheap drugs and dental are always good. There's also the added bonus of cheap Metropasses, but that requires extra paperwork. Given that I don't have solid plans to move yet (hopes, those I have, but not plans), I'm not going to look into that until later. I rarely use the TTC right now, as everything is in walking distance from Union.
Darn, it's dark outside. It's so bad that I had to turn on an office light. Looks like the rain storm followed me in from Hamilton. I hope it'll rain itself out by noon, since I want to go for a walk up to the Market - it's been three months! I think I've earned myself a chocolate butter tart. It looks quite windy, though, so I may have to just pop over to Loblaws or Kitchen Table. The Table has baklava!
Or, yet again, run over somewhere for hot chocolate. ::pokes window:: Now there's a downpour. Darn.
There has been progress in the slushie search. Turns out there's a 7-11 up by Curry's. This, of course, requires me to walk to Curry's, which is up near College. This can be done in a lunch hour run, as I have in the past, but it's a walk up and subway back. o_O
