Jun. 4th, 2007 10:30 amUGh. Also, remind me to never, ever attempt to run Stratholme before going to bed again. I don't usually have nightmares related to game or fandom things and horror stuff doesn't usually faze me, but...
Stratholme and Mystery Science Theater. Together. Yes, as a crossover thing.
Allow me to repeat that.
STRATHOLME and MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATER.
Dear brain, how did you ever come up with that connection? THESE TWO THINGS HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH EACH OTHER. Mike was there with bots and poor Aurius. They were heckling the Baron outside of the Gauntlet. Well, Mike and the bots were and Aurius was all "...you people are insane...". I don't remember too much outside of this, but one of the bots had a Tom Servo plushie (may have been Tom himself) and whatever little plot there was, it was only set in the Undead side. This happened to be the side we tried to run last night, although we didn't make it to Baron Rivendare because I was sleepy and my gun broke. :\ I can't remember if the gang made it to the Baron in my dream, but my brain's idea of the Slaughter House probably is completely different than what it actually is, given that I have yet to see the blasted thing.
::sigh:: Home life? It REALLY sucks right now. I'm stuck in the position of wanting to get out now and wanting to get a bit more money before leaving.
It doesn't help when my mom makes some wild claims of "Oh, well it doesn't matter right because in 2 months I'm going leave this country because I hate it!". Well, then why do you keep demanding my rent early, if, you know, life here is so damn awful that you're already packing your bags.
Speaking of which, the loonie is almost at 95 cents US. So, why is it now that pay phones are 50 cents a call? Look, I'm sorry, but some of us do not like cell phones!
This seems to be the running theme of the weekend. Whenever it appears that things are finally making sense, the world decides to baffle me AGAIN.
At least it's a cool and wet day out. I tend to enjoy those out on the waterfront, with the fog and all. Especially that "just rained" smell.
