Had my phone interviews today. My interview with the local company was very blah. You could tell that the interviewer wasn't comfortable talking on the phone. It make the whole process a bit painful.
I'm really happy with how the second one went. The tech guy was looking through my portfolio and seemed honestly impressed. He also said I was a rare case, because of my joint background in art and science/math.
I should hear back within the week if I'm going to go onto an in-person interview.
