mbehemoth's theory, the current plot that started yesterday IS an offical version of "Kazzak does Stormwind". Only it's "Kruul Does What Captial City He Darn Well Pleases".
Seriously. The attack pattern is so close to Kazzak that it's not funny (needs to be beaten within 3 minutes or he becomes unstoppable, although I think he cycles out of a city when the faction leader is killed) and he's confirmed a random spawn. Ogrimmar was ambushed on our server today, although I missed it. There's screen caps of Ironforge and Undercity being attacked on other servers. As someone at the IF attack put it "Something big spawned over the dueling area and suddenly everyone started screaming".
Crazy stuff, but I think this is one big last send off because Kazzak left for the Outlands. I might lurk around the server today to find this guy.
I finally have my Argent Dawn tabard! For reasons that haven't been explained, the Dawn is playing a large role right now and helping them rewards you with a "Tabard of the Protector", a new version of the AD tabard. Now we need to get Katie a matching Scarlet Crusade tabard.
