teddog: (I'm fine!)
Okaaay, if they lack of posts in general wasn't enough to tip you off, I moved.

The Teddog is now a resident of the city of Toronto, which means that I one-uped the main RP character, since I actually made it back! I win! Ha!

Rick> But I'm in Florida right now.

::twitches:: Why must you be better then MEEEEE?! Anywho, this means my internet will be flakey for a while, mostly because of me. I probably can't do late weekday night RP runs anymore, since I have to be on public transit on a daily basis at 8am, which means being somewhat awake. ::groans:: Can do late afternoons, probably. The internet is only in the basement here, so I have to haul Nance the laptop down here and hook her up. It can be done. ::points at the current setup:: The internet likes randomly conking out. Bleh. Wait, that was my firewall in this case. My mistake.

But a lot of time is going to be spent settling in. My room is full of crap and needs to get sorted tomorrow. I'm still trying to figure out my way around this end of town. There's a 24 grocery store 4 blocks away, which makes me happy, along with places to find slushies. The only fast food is McDonalds, GRRRRR.

Today is a busy day; I need to do a "timed run" to work within the next hour so I can see what it's going to be like on Monday. Then I'm off to meet Laura and get a lay of the land downtown. I have no idea when I'll get back and I gave my aunt the heads up that "If I'm not back by the early evening, don't freak".

On a side note, I like the amount of sunlight here. Up north the sun didn't rise until 9, and it was high in the sky at 7:30 this morning here.

Also, my hair doesn't like me today. It was sticking up like Syd's from Maniac Mansion. o___O

I forget how screwed up the weather can be in Southern sometimes.

With windchill, it's colder here than in Thunder Bay. And that's saying something, since I was wearing my spring jacket out there. There's lots of wide spaces around work; it's out near of the Don Valley, so there's NOTHING there to block the wind. It takes about 30 to 45 mintues to get from home to work, including bus and walking time. So, I have to leave around 8 am every morning. Heh, it's do-able.

::bored and waiting for a call, so she looks up how to get to Woodbine on the TTC::
